About Rare Reservations

Hi, I'm Andrej Tusicisny, founder of Rare Reservations.
Most diners assume that when a world-class restaurant shows zero availability, their chances of dining there are zero. But as a former Google and Microsoft researcher with a Ph.D. from Columbia University, I look at reservation systems through a different lens: as a prediction problem.
Restaurants tend to release tables at predictable intervals even if they don't publicly announce it. On top of that, up to 15% of tables at top-tier restaurants open back up because of cancellations. The tables are there – they just vanish in seconds because someone else happened to refresh the page at the exact right moment.
I started Rare Reservations because I wanted to solve this problem for myself. I've lived in culinary hotspots like New York, San Francisco, Paris, Florence, and now Barcelona. My travel always revolves around discovering extraordinary culinary experiences. Except that I don't have time or mental bandwidth to spend all day refreshing restaurant booking pages.
Rare Reservations monitors high-end restaurants for table releases and cancellations 24/7, then sends a direct booking link straight to your phone via a text message (SMS), WhatsApp, or email. My goal is to take the guesswork and stress out of securing hard-to-get reservations so you can focus on enjoying your meal and your company.
Please let me know what you think after giving it a try. As I'm planning to add a lot more destinations and restaurants, this is also a good time to suggest which ones you love. Cheers!
Editorial policy
We're independent of the restaurants we cover and of their booking platforms. No restaurant pays to be listed, featured, or ranked on our site.
Table release times and cancellation patterns come from our own continuous availability monitoring. Other restaurant details – such as opening hours, prices, and cancellation policies – are pulled directly from official restaurant pages and other authoritative sources. Every venue page explicitly lists its sources alongside the date we checked them.
If you spot an inaccuracy, you can click the “Report an error” link on any restaurant page or send us a correction by email at support@rarereservations.com. We'll reply within 2 business days. A corrected page will show a new “Data updated” timestamp.
