No. Rare Reservations is a table alert service for hard-to-book restaurants. We watch the restaurants and dates you choose for cancellations and newly released tables, and send you a direct booking link when a matching table opens. You book it yourself on the restaurant's booking page linked from the alert.

An alert has a link to the restaurant's booking page with your date, time and party size pre-filled. It comes by email and push notification. With a Pass or Membership, it can also come by WhatsApp or text message (SMS). Popular tables can go within seconds, so we can't promise a table will still be available when you tap.

Tap the link right away. It opens the restaurant's own booking page with your date and party size filled in. Pick the time named in the alert and book with your own account. Stay signed in to the booking page and keep your card at hand, because some restaurants ask for a deposit or a card hold.

We never log in to your Resy, Amex, Chase or any other account, ask for your password or book for you. You book yourself on the restaurant's own booking page, just as you would without us. We can't speak for each booking platform's rules, but nothing we do uses your account.

We currently watch 49 restaurants in London, Paris, New York City, the San Francisco Bay Area and Barcelona, listed below. Most are hard-to-book, high-end restaurants with Michelin stars. We're adding new destinations and venues every week.

A Pass costs $39. You pay once, with no subscription you'd need to cancel. It includes up to 5 restaurants, with all booking dates within one 14-day period. This is a perfect option if you're planning a one-off trip or a special occasion, such as a birthday, an anniversary or Thanksgiving.

Membership costs $19 a month. If you prepay for a year ($149), you get 4 months free. Members can monitor up to 10 restaurants at the same time and set up alerts for any dates. Membership is the best option for people who dine in gourmet restaurants more than just once a year.

You pay for alerts. We watch the restaurants you choose around the clock, and tell you the moment a new table opens. Paid plans include instant alerts, WhatsApp or text message (SMS) notifications, and monitoring multiple restaurants at once.

A Pass is meant for one trip or occasion: one payment for up to 5 restaurants, with all your booking dates within the same 14-day period. It never renews, so you don't have to remember to cancel it. And if we don't find a single matching table, we refund the price you paid in full, automatically.

Membership is for the restaurants you want all year: any dates, up to 10 restaurants at a time, renewing every year or month until you cancel. You can cancel it online anytime. You can also pause it for 1 to 3 months without losing any paid time.
